Please don't open the gray box!

KPUD reports “We have had a couple of instances recently where a customer appears to have opened the external enclosure housing the CPE and affected their service.” KPUD is implementing a tampering fee to cover their costs if they determine the service disruption was due to customer access of the gray box. If KPUD assesses a tampering fee, Net253 will pass it through to the end customer with markup to cover WA state B&O and handling. At this point, the tampering fee will be $175.00.
